Pedro Almiro (b. 1988, Tondela, Portugal) is a musician (drums, Combo, trumpet), attended the graduation of Communication Design at FBAUL as well as the Musicology at New University of Lisbon FCSH. In 2011, he finished the Jazz course in the Hot Club of Portugal (Luis Villas-Boas Jazz School) where he was a pupil of Bruno Pedroso, Nuno Costa, Gonçalo Marques, Tomás Pimentel, João Moreira, Bruno Santos, Jorge Moniz and Luís Cunha. Throughout his musical career had masterclasses with Trilok Gurtu, Jesse Davis, Michael Lauren, John Hollenbeck, Paulinho Braga, Peter Bernstein and Dave Holland. Currently he is attending a Degree in Music, Jazz (drums) in ESMAE, Porto. As a musician/actor participated in the creation of original soundtracks for the following shows: "Faldum" from the group Trigo Limpo Teatro ACERT (1996), Queima do Judas – ACERT (2003-2011), "Amor Impossível" from the group Naxi na Lua (2005), "Odem" (2010) and "Divodignos" from the group CITAC (2011). In the last years he has been a drummer and percussionist in the following bands: New Sketch (Reggae, Ska, Alternative, Fusion); Kapthen's 4tet (Standards and Contemporary Jazz), The Other (Jazz, Experimental, Groove); Ghostdown (Hardcore) and Best Before Full Moon (Folk, Indie, Acoustic).
