Cheila Pereira (b. 1987, Ferreira do Alentejo, Portugal): Stage director and performer, graduated in International Relations by the University of Coimbra (2009) and a Master in Theatre - Staging and Interpretation, by the School of Music and Performing Arts of Porto-ESMAE (2012) . She was member of CITAC and she has been developing her work as a performer since 2006. In her artistic career has had training with Rodrigo Malvar, Catarina Lacerda, David Santos, Gonçalo Amorim, Nuno Pino Custodio, Paula Simms, Lee Beagly, Miguel Moreira, Tiago Faria, Pedro Fabião, Claudia Marisa Oliveira, Marta Freitas, Ana D'Andrea, Cristiana Rocha, among others. She worked as an actress/performer with Wojtek Ziemilsky, Pedro Penim, Carlos Curto, Ricardo Seiça, Andrés Bezares and Patrick Murys. She co-staged and performed the performances Sim Não Talvez (2009), A Stranger in a Strange Land (2010) and ODEM I and ODEM II (2010). In 2010 she worked on the project Viver a Rua, with Joshua Sofaer, for the Festival FITEI. It was co-founder and is a member of DEMO. In 2011 she participated with DEMO as a performer/director in the artistic research project Russian Roulette, at the Centre for Contemporary Art Ujazdowski Castle in Warsaw, Poland. In 2012, she worked in the assembly of the André Vasconcelos' installation Construction of Clothes, included in Guimarães 2012 - European Capital of Culture's project Performance Architecture. Co-staged and performed in the show LIMBO, co-produced by DEMO and CITAC. Has trained and directed the project UWAGA! produced by DEMO also inserted in the Guimarães 2012 - European Capital of Culture's programme Tempos Cruzados. This year, co-staged and performed the show A QUEDA, a partir do Limbo in co-production with the Centre for Performing Arts of Figueira da Foz (an artistic residency, sponsored by Corpodehoje - Cultural Association).  2013 co-staged and performed in the show NEBULOSA inserted in the Guimarães 2012 - European Capital of Culture's programme Tempos Cruzados.
